I. GENERAL

Hello there and welcome to our store. By shopping with us, you’re agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. We’ve kept them straightforward so you know exactly where you stand.

II. ORDERS

  • All orders depend on stock being available.
  • Stock availability is sometimes out of our control, as customers receive the latest stock direct from the manufacturer. We may only find out afterwards if an item is unavailable. In that case, we’ll attempt to contact you with an estimated ETA. 
  • We may need to cancel or decline an order if something’s gone wrong (like a pricing error).
  • Once you’ve placed an order, we’ll send you a confirmation email, so you know it’s on the way.

III. PRICING & PAYMENT 

  • Prices are shown in NZD and can change from time to time.
  • Payment is taken at checkout using the secure options provided.
  • Any shipping costs or GST will be clearly shown before you pay.

IV. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • We ship nationwide across New Zealand using trusted courier partners.
  • Courier times are estimates only – sometimes delays happen outside our control.
  • Once your order is delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to you.

V. RETURNS & REFUNDS

  • All sales are final – we do not accept returns or exchanges.
  • Custom and clearance items are non-returnable. 
  • Please choose carefully before placing your order.
  • In exceptional circumstances where a return is approved at our discretion: 
    • A 40% restocking fee will apply.
    • The buyer is responsible for all return courier fees.
  • Refunds (if granted) are processed back to your original payment method once the item has been received and checked.
  • Important: Shopify has a processing period before funds are released to us. Refunds will only be actioned after the original payment has cleared into our account, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Shopify’s payout schedule.

VI. PRODUCT INFO

  • We do our best to make sure product descriptions and photos are accurate.
  • Small differences in packaging or appearance may occur, but the product itself will be as described.

VII. INTELECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All content on this site – words, images, logos – belongs to Cosy Spaces NZ / JKA Electrical or is licensed to us.
  • Please don’t copy or reuse our content without permission.

VIII. LIABILITY

  • To the fullest extent allowed by NZ law, we’re not responsible for indirect or knock‑on losses.
  • If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

  • If the purchase is made for business activity (rather than for personal or household use), the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

IX. PRIVACY

  • Your shopping experience is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your info.

X. CHANGES

  • We may update these Terms now and then.
  • If you keep using the store after changes, that means you’re okay with the updated Terms.

XI. GOVERNING LAW

  • These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.
  • Any disputes will be handled in New Zealand courts.
